Asher, the fish.

I was putting some pictures of our wonderful trip to Hawaii together and I noticed I had a ton of my little nephew, Asher, enjoying the water.  He could not get enough of it!  And absolutely no fear.  It must be in his blood!  (His daddy is a surfer and now has two surf board companies.)
Running towards the water

And again...

He didn't even mind when the waves splashed right over him!

And taking off again.  Some one had to be next to him at all times because he would have just kept going!

Rinsing off the sand afterwards.  Julianna didn't like it because the water was cold but Asher just went right in.

Playing in the pool.  He didn't like his floatie toy much because he just preferred being in the water.

There we go!

Even happier without floaties!

We love you Asher!  You are such a gem!

Summer Camping Trips

We went camping several times over the summer so I decided to just lump them all together in one post.  First was Lake Pend Oreille in Idaho with my parents.  Then we went to Lake Easton with the fabulous Christian and Anita Conrad.  Lastly we went to the Potholes with Jeff's parents.  All of them were so fun and so different.  We had a such a great time on all three trips and can't wait to see the fun places we will go next year!  Here are a few of my favorites:
Here we are in front of Lake Pend Orielle

The water was so clear!  Julianna wanted to go swimming but it was pretty chilly.  Maybe next year.

Sitting on a rock...

Loving Granny.

So precious!  Love this little girl!

She loved exploring on her own

Granny and Papa

All ready for breakfast

Here are my very dear and awesome friends, Anita and Christian.  This was actually taken when they came earlier to go wine tasting.  SO much fun!

Julianna LOVED Christian!  I have a ton of pictures of her just laying on his chest. :)

Here is another!

She loved sitting on "her" little tree stump.

Sometimes she needed a little help...

Jeff got some fishing in so he was happy. :)

Anita watched Julianna for me.  It was so great!

The love of my life.  Such a cutie!

What a doll!  We went swimming in Lake Easton this day.  It was pretty cold!

She loves the camera!

Hmmm, I think I'll just let Daddy hold me.

Another tired day of swimming.

She got pretty dirty on this trip!  But we all had so much fun!

Now we are at our camping spot at the Potholes.  I love this picture because she looks like a little movie star who is saying, "No pictures, please!"

The water here was warmer and she went right in!  Grandma bought her the little floating boat, which she loved!

"This is the life..." :)

On Grandma and Grandpa's boat.  Just chillaxing...

Jeff showing Uncle Matt how it's done.  Just kidding, Matt!

Look at the smile!  Such a studmuffin!

So fun!  Thank you family and friends for the great times!!

Summer Pool Fun

We did so many fun things this summer and I didn't do so well with taking pictures. Here a few fun pool times:

Here is the little pool we got for her to play in the backyard.  If we were home, we were in the backyard "swimming."  She loved this and we were in it almost everyday.

I know this is a similar picture but I just love her little smile!

Testing out the water temperature...

a little more testing...

and she is in!

She also loved going to the neighborhood pool at my parents house with her friend, Collin.  He was always worried about her falling in and tried to grab her hand.  And if she got too close to the edge he would say, "Back, Julianna!" So precious!

And after an exhausting day of swimming. :)

Memorial Day Weekend

So I know that Memorial Day is in May... and it's now August... I'm a little behind.  But I couldn't resist posting some pictures of my sweet Julianna a few days after her first birthday and her adorable cousin Asher who was almost 16 months in the pictures.  I love how they play together!

I love this outfit!

dear sweet Asher man

Reading Asher's bible together

Julianna and her open mouthed kisses.  Luckily we cured her of that but she still does stick her tongue out so it's a little slobbery. :)

Playing in the grass with Daddy.  She is such a little daddy's girl.

Look at that sweet smile!  I love this little sweetheart!

Eating yummy tri-tip steak!

Julianna loves the tri-tip too!  Giving Papa a high five!

Back at home, Asher is peeking out the porch.

Asher loved swinging!  Julianna got a little jealous.  She thinks it's her swing!

Look at those sweet feet!  He's going to be tall!  Love that little man!
